today is just another day and im blogging just another entry.
decided to removed the song 'hark the herald angels sing' cuz christmas is so yesterday. used to like that song a lot cuz its so grand and majestic - simply reflects the spirit of carroling. but upon listening it repeatedly, im kinda sick of it. and you know what, my mum actually reckons that it is some communist revolutionary song. like huh???
i actually msged my sister in the middle of night asking her to tell her bf not to come over my place for my daily routine gym training cuz my whole body was aching over. all thanks to 8 hrs of shopping, my muscles were so in pain that i can hardly sleep. serves me right for shopping too much huh?
woke up feeling much better today. went out with a friend who has just discharged from army for new yr break. he is one of the unlucky ones who got enlisted on december. i always thot that the army is a place full of sadistic officers and recruits who shoot themselves. however according to him, yes, indeed army life is regimented and tough, but his words are without of any complains and rantings. instead he assured me that as long im alert and enthusiastic, the army officers have no reason to be hard on me. i daresay despite me being a jc kid, im really a muddlehead [see, the perception that jc ppl are smart is wrong lor]. but it really pays to be alert as we cant afford to make mistakes during wartime. a slip sinks a ship, as the slogan of a WWII propaganda poster goes. as he narrates his life in army full of eager, i told myself that hey perhaps i shouldnt see army life in such a negative light.
